Four years after returning to my homeland, I created an installation to reflect upon, and share the moment I was living. The title twofold ponders upon my dual linguistic and cultural identities; the native (Lebanon) and the chosen (Japan). In this calligraphic series, Japanese and Arabic marks seem to merge, converse, diverge and rediscover themselves outside of the linguistic realm.
